Re:"A Gold Polaris"

We are posting Lesson No. 13 early this week and will run it through the weekend. Polyconomics tomorrow holds its 13th annual "Supply-Side Festival" and client conference in Boca Raton, Florida, which we sponsor in association with Rowland Evans & Robert Novak, the famed journalists. Their weekend television show on CNN, which airs at 5:30 pm EST on Saturday and 10 a.m. EST on Sunday, will have Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan as their guest. Tune in. Min. Farrakhan also will be among the guests at the Polyconomics conference.

Our lesson this week consists of a lengthy essay we published two years ago on the use of gold in a monetary system, "A Gold Polaris." I'd actually written it to give members of Congress and financial journalists a clearer understanding of why most supply-side political economists see a definite need for gold's role in an international monetary system.
